Very good sound quality, a built-in equaliser, DSEE HX (natural sound enhancement), support for High Res audio plus most common file formats including MP3, WMA, FLAC etc. Good build quality, compact size, and a sharp 3.1" touchscreen with logically laid out controls including a hold button to prevent accidental activation of the screen buttons in your pocket - the ergonomics are good and album artwork is displayed. As I see it these are the pros and cons of this player. After plenty of research, I settled on this Sony Walkman but it was more than the familiar name that attracted me to it. I bought this Sony NW-A45 Music Player as I didn't feel my phone was up to the job of delivering high-quality audio and I have a number of long-distance flights this year so wanted a good quality product.
